# Getting Started

> How qualified investors request access, complete onboarding, and fund a Prime Lending commitment.

Prime Lending is offered to qualified counterparties. Onboarding runs directly with the Mezzamine team and moves from access request to funded commitment in a defined sequence.

    Reach out through the [contact form](https://www.mezzamine.com/contact) or to the Mezzamine team directly. Access is limited to qualified counterparties.

  <Step title="Qualification and onboarding">
    Complete counterparty qualification, KYC and AML verification, and the investor onboarding review. Custody is arranged with a qualified custodian or through audited on-chain contracts. Mezzamine never takes custody of investor assets.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Whitelisting">
    Once onboarding clears, your address is whitelisted for participation. Whitelisting is required before you can fund a commitment.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review and commit">
    Review available programs, each with its financed fleet, collateral package, hedge mandate, tenor, and pricing, and submit a commitment to the programs that fit your mandate.

  <Step title="Fund">
    Fund the accepted commitment in BTC. Capital is deployed into the program, and distributions of principal and interest flow to you in BTC through the controlled program structure.

## Minimum participation

Minimum participation is set per program and depends on facility size and structure. Prime Lending is built for institutional size and committed for the full term. For current minimums and open programs, request access through the Mezzamine team.

## What to have ready

* Entity and counterparty details for qualification
* A custody arrangement, either a qualified custodian or an audited on-chain contract
* Mandate parameters: target size, tenor, and BTC yield objectives
